SUNDAY MORNING
10am: Breakfast - Bring some food to share.
10:45am: Richard Neufeld, a Canadian who lived in Sudan for 25 years together with his wife, Eva, will be sharing their experiences, drawing from the inspiring biblical story of Ruth and Naomi, who were refugees and were helped by the family of Boaz.
Richard will speak in Arabic, while his wife, Eva, will provide the English translation.
I truly hope to see all of you there!
Children and Teenagers: We will be launching our new program for our children and youth. I truly hope everyone can come! It’s going to be fun!
RICHARD AND EVA NEUFELD
Richard works with Naomi House as a settlement worker. Naomi House is a ministry of City Church in Winnipeg. As an Arabic speaker, he helps newcomers who come to Canada adjust to life here and also teaches at the church from time to time.
Naomi House encourages meaningful friendships with Muslim people in Winnipeg. One of its core values is:
“With love and respect, we share Christ’s love and words with people from any background.”
Richard was born in Saskatchewan, Canada, and his wife is from Sweden. Richard and his wife, Eva, went to Sudan together in 1986 and served there for 25 years. Richard taught Mechanics in a technical school, and Eva taught at an English-medium primary school in Sudan.
They are deeply thankful for God’s care and guidance throughout their lives.
