We will have the couple Patsy Buhler and Scott Buhler speaking with us. They lived in Brazil for 27 years, are fluent Portuguese speakers, and will share with us the lessons they gathered from that experience.
Patsy will speak in English, while Scott will translate into Portuguese. The title of the message is “Change is Easy, Transition Is Hard.”
I believe it will be an inspiring message for all of us who have experienced major changes in our lives—especially for us immigrants. I truly hope to see you there!

10:45am: Still in the spirit of the days leading up to Easter, let’s follow Jesus into the desert and learn from Him (as we always do) what “lessons we can draw from the desert” ("Lessons from the Desert" - Matthew 4:1-10), which metaphorically represents a season of scarcity, loneliness, struggles, and challenges in our lives.
Have you ever gone through a “desert”? I think, in one way or another, we all have…
Let’s talk about it.

10:45am: I will be speaking to you again about one of my favorite series, “Words of Jesus.”
We will talk about Luke 9:23 (NIV), which is also recorded in Matthew 16:24 (NIV):
“Then he said to them all: ‘Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.’”
What can we learn from this instruction of Jesus? How does it apply to our lives today, more than 2,000 years after it was written?
I’m really looking forward to hearing from you as well.

10:45am: Richard Neufeld, a Canadian who lived in Sudan for 25 years together with his wife, Eva, will be sharing their experiences, drawing from the inspiring biblical story of Ruth and Naomi, who were refugees and were helped by the family of Boaz.
Richard will speak in Arabic, while his wife, Eva, will provide the English translation.
I truly hope to see all of you there!
Children and Teenagers: We will be launching our new program for our children and youth. I truly hope everyone can come! It’s going to be fun!
